John Ainslie
President of Construction
A past president of the Tidewater Builders Association, John holds a Class A contractor’s license and has been an industry professional since 1981. He is a member of numerous statewide and regional homebuilding industry organizations. Currently, he serves on the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development Board, and previously was a member of the Virginia Statewide Building Code Technical Review Board. John is also active in several noteworthy philanthropic organizations and works with regional municipalities to ensure their staff members stay current with all of the latest code enforcement and building regulations.

Jeff Ainslie

As a builder and an industry leader, Jeff is equally comfortable holding a hammer or a gavel. He possesses years of hands-on experience in the building trades, which spurred his interest in serving on regional and statewide workforce development boards. Jeff is a past president of the Tidewater Builders Association and the Home Builders Association of Virginia. He currently serves as the State Representative for the National Association of Home Builders, and serves as an instructor for numerous local, state and national homebuilding-related educational programs.
